GammaCon Waga Wagga (Lite)
I’m off to Wagga Wagga (the town so awesome they named it twice!) on July 22, where I’m expecting to be swamped by huge crowds desperate for great fantasy books (did I mention I’m biased?).
GammaCon used to do Wagga Wagga conventions pre-covid, but this is the first one since then, so hopefully everyone will be revved up!
I haven’t been to Wagga Wagga in about 20 years, so it’ll be interesting to see how it’s changed… or if it’s changed.

OzComicCon Canberra
OzComicCon is returning to Canberra on August 5-6, and it’s set to be EPIC (it’s also at EPIC – Exhibition Park In Canberra)
I love local events and locals seem to love local artists just as much.
If last year was anything to go by, OzComicCon Canberra will be awesome. You can get your tickets online.
GammaCon Canberra
And of course, GammaCon Canberra returns on the 9-10 September. They’ve moved venue again because EPIC is booked out. It’s now at Thoroughbred Racecourse. I haven’t seen the venue myself, but it’s just across the road from EPIC.
GammaCon has a special place in my heart because it’s a fan-run event based in Canberra, and it’s just as big and awesome as any other con around.
Book Fair Australia
Book Fair Australia is back again this year in Sydney – 14-15 October. Last year was the first time it had been held. This year I’m expecting big things!
